Connect Slack
Give an AI employee access to Slack through a reviewed connector, with read-only or read-and-act permission.
A connector lets an employee use a service from its computer without going through the browser, which is faster and safer. Slack is one of the connectors in our reviewed catalog.
Steps
- Open the employee’s profile, go to “Integrations and accounts” and scroll to Connectors (MCP).
- Choose Slack from the reviewed catalog and press “Connect”.
- Choose the permission: Read only or Read and act, and which account it signs in with. If a key is needed, it goes straight into your company vault and nobody sees it again.
Anything outside the catalog has to be requested; it arrives in your Inbox to approve, and an administrator can also add one with “Add one from outside the catalog”.
Good to know
- Start with “Read only” and move to “Read and act” once you trust how the employee uses it.
- The employee’s computer never sees the keys: every use goes through the platform, which checks the permission and writes it in the Log.
- “Remove access” takes it away immediately.
