Control skyseat from Claude (MCP)
Check your team, answer the Inbox and assign tasks from Claude or any MCP client.
skyseat is also an MCP server. Each person can manage their team from Claude (or any MCP client): see the team and the Inbox, assign and follow tasks, answer requests, read reports, spend and the Log. It does what the panel does, with that person’s role, and everything is recorded in the Log as done “via MCP”.
Claude on the web or desktop (no keys to copy)
- In Claude, go to Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector. Name it “skyseat” and paste your skyseat MCP address, shown in Account › Your access › Connect with Claude (MCP).
- Claude opens a skyseat page. Sign in if you aren’t already.
- Choose what it may do (“Look only” or “Look and act”) and which companies, then press “Allow”.
- Done. You can disconnect it from the same place in the panel at any time.
Claude Code or another client with a key
- In the panel, under Account › Your access › Connect with Claude (MCP), press Create a key: choose a name and “Look only” or “Look and act”. The key is shown only once.
- The panel gives you the ready-made command to copy into Claude Code. Other MCP clients use the same address with an
Authorization: Bearerheader, or their own OAuth flow.
What you can ask
- “What is waiting for me in the Inbox today?”
- “Assign the October invoices review to the accountant, high priority.”
- “Pause the support employee.”
- “How much have we spent this month, and who is close to their limit?”
What it won’t do
It acts as you, with your role, so it can’t do anything the panel doesn’t let you do. In addition, some things always stay in the panel: spending (changing plans, payments, raising limits, approving anything with an amount), accounts and connectors outside the catalog, and raising an employee to Full autonomy.
